High planimetry in all halls

The main hall and the silos are being built with High Planimetry levels. In addition to being a must to facilitate high and high racking – and to optimise and speed up the traffic of vehicles and robots on horizontal and vertical planes – the super flat surface regularity allows the life of the flooring to be prolonged because it reduces the risk of pathologies due to wear, abrasions, etc. The level of flatness falls into the category of ‘Superflats’, according to the ASTM measurement system, which uses the so-called ‘F-numbers’ to determine the flatness and roughness of the ground. Considering that the silos have storage systems that rise from a single storey to over 30 metres, the horizontality of the floor must border on perfection because altering the verticality would be a logistical disaster.
