For each cubic meter of pavement in this project, more than 100 kg of metal are used.

The buildings that really test the resistance of Prosistemas flooring are the logistics silos. Vertical storage is the future. The pavement must have an extraordinary levelness and resistance to withstand heavy loads at a height of more than 30 meters and on a single floor. For this reason, in addition to the double reinforced metal reinforcement – 25.5 kg of steel per square meter of pavement – these seven logistics floors totaling 86,500 square meters built in the Netherlands incorporate millions of metallic fibers. Each cubic meter of concrete carries 30 kg of fibers, or 90,000 filaments. In total, one cubic meter of Prosistemas’ ultra-resistant technological silo flooring carries more than 100 kg of metal.

In this immense textile logistics center, we have buried more than 3 billion metallic fibers – 949,000 kg – carefully arranged according to a previous engineering study. If we were to join all the fibers used in this impressive work in their longitudinal position, we would encircle the earth four and a half times with this metallic thread.

We can safely say that a Prosistemas silo is as strong a structure as a bunker.
